Entry requirements

 

Dutch, French and ICT


You can enrol if you are 16 years old at the time of enrolment.
Also if you are 15 and have followed the first two years of secondary education.

Do you want to obtain your secondary diploma through second-chance education? Then you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are 18 or older, you must have the Belgian nationality. Or you must have a legal residence permit, valid at the time of enrolment.
For some courses, you need prior knowledge. In that case, you must be able to present certificates from previous modules or you must take an online entry test.

 

Secondary education diploma


Vocational training

 

For AAV (Additional General Education):


If you enrol in September, you must turn 18 at the latest on 31 December of that year.

If you enrol in February, you must be at least 18 years old.




For vocational training:


You must be at least 16 years old.

 If you are a non-native speaker, you must have obtained a certificate of Dutch Grade 2 (a partial certificate of Dutch Grade 2.4).

 
 

Humanities

For AV (General Education):


If you enrol in September, you must turn 18 at the latest by 31 December of that year.

If you enrol in February, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are a non-native speaker, you must have obtained a certificate of Dutch Grade 2 (a partial certificate of Dutch Grade 2.4).
